DESCRIPTION:http://www.canscaip.org/ViewEvent.ashx?eventId=408507\n\nOLA's Forest of Reading® and CANSCAIP\n  Learn about the Forest of Reading®\, from selection committees to SuperConference\, and what it means for Canadian authors\, illustrators and publishers.\n  Helen Kubiw is the co-Chair of Ontario Library Association's Forest of Reading®\, CanLit for LittleCanadians' blogger and a teacher-librarian\, with additional experience on the selection committees for Silver Birch\, Red Maple and the Canadian Library Association's Book of the Year for Children Award\, as well as having helped co-ordinate the children's venue for the Eden Mills Writers' Festival.\n  Meredith Tutching is the Program Co-ordinator for the Ontario Library Association.  Her main responsibility is the programming around the Forest of Reading®\,  the organization of over 200 committee members\, the event planning for the Festival of Trees™ in Toronto (over 8\,000 people) and the newest satellite celebrations around the province.   \n  Gianna Dassios\, a.k.a. Guardian Librarian\, is the Chair\, Ontario Library Association's Forest of Reading®\, former Chair of the Blue Spruce®\, Steering Committee\, a former French Immersion Elementary teacher\, currently teacher-librarian for the Toronto DSB\, and all-around Bonne Vivante.\nPlease note that the start time for the meeting has changed to 7:00 p.m.\n
