Bio
I always see the magic around me. It is what that inspires me as an artist. In my work, I draw based on my experiences of living in different parts of the world, and in cities with different languages and cultures.

Somehow, I have always been involved in the visual arts, either as a book illustrator or as a painter. However, my career as a serious illustrator began around fifteen years ago. I start with a quick sketch, and then add colors and textures. I prefer working with acrylic, because it allows me to experiment a variety of possible outcomes.

In my book illustrations there are always an encounter between happiness and sadness, confidence and doubt, the child inside and the adult. The figures that I depict are weightless, floating in a world without gravity. I created a series of illustrations in my last project, in which a group of female figures float in an undetermined space. These illustrations invite the viewer to the magical world that I see around me, where the lightness and vividness of all things become apparent.
