Bio
In 2006, Lindsey Carmichael received the Governor General's Medal for her PhD thesis, Ecological Genetics of Northern Wolves and Arctic Foxes. She finds talking about science more fun than doing it, however, and now works as a freelance writer, editor, and writing instructor. Lindsey's nonfiction has appeared in professional journals, general interest publications, and magazines for children. Her first four children's books, on animal migration, were released in January. In her spare time, Lindsey also writes young adult novels.
