Bio
Maureen is the author of Cinderella: Ninja Warrior, Sleeping Beauty: Vampire Slayer, and the upcoming YA trilogy The Dust Chronicles. She was born in Saskatchewan and her family moved ten times across Canada before settling in Georgetown, Ontario, when she was a teen. Involved in high school sports, dance and drama, she was plagued by a persistent practical side that led her to pursue a career in accounting. Before writing her first novel, she worked as an auditor, a knowledge engineer, a practice development director and a hedge fund CFO.
Aside from books, she’s passionate about art, dance, films, fine handcrafted objects and shoes. Her previous career moved her to Palo Alto, California and Philadelphia, and she now lives, writes, and goes to a lot of movies, in Toronto.
