  Yes Oui CANSCAIP (CANSCAIP Quebec) hosts Imagine a Story, a one-day conference for adults interested in writing, illustrating, and performing for children and teens.  Marie-Louise Gay (author-illustrator), Patricia Ocampo (literary agent), Rachna Gilmore (author), Anna Goodson (artist agent), Christie Harkin (editor-publisher), and Anita Daher (author-editor) are among the conference's 14 featured speakers.
  
  The event takes place on Saturday, May 25th from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Dawson College (4001 de Maisonneuve Blvd. in Montreal).

  Are e-books really the future of publishing? How do children's books fit into the e-book world? Join us for a panel discussion with Ashleigh Gardner of Kobo Books and literary agent Sarah Heller as we discuss the latest buzz about e-books.

  
  Sarah Heller Since joining the Helen Heller Agency in 2003, Sarah Heller has developed an internationally and New York Times best selling list. She specializes in first fiction, and in establishing new authors with a focus on front list commercial YA and adult fiction, with a particular interest in high concept historical fiction. Sarah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University, and is a graduate of the Advertising program of the Ontario College of Art and Design.

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  Ashleigh Gardner is Head of Content for Wattpad, a global social platform for authors and readers to connect and share stories. Throughout her career, she's been working at the intersection of literature and technology with past experience as Director of Content Management at Kobo and Manager of Digital Development for Dundurn Press.
