Biography

Dianna began her career as an artist at a very early age. Born and raised in Kamloops B.C., Dianna was an only child and therefore had plenty of quiet time to pursue her favourite activities. She would amuse herself for hours by drawing, painting, writing stories and reading. These passions followed Dianna throughout school. She continued her studies in Toronto for Fashion Illustration/Design and then moved back to B.C. to pursue her degree in Fine Arts and Illustration at the University College of the Cariboo.

Dianna's newest book is titled Accidental Alphabet and is due out this October 2002. She is both the author and illustrator of her new book and is currently working on two more of her own manuscripts. Additionally, Dianna is now working on two more children's books with Kids Can Press and Fitzhenry and Whiteside which are due out next year. Her original paintings and limited edition prints can be found in galleries throughout Western Canada.
