Biography

B.A. in English, history, and psychology (Queen's University,), Teaching Diploma (Ontario College of Education at University of Toronto.), Graduate Studies (Wheaton College). Connie Brummel Crook taught English for thirty years in Ontario's public secondary schools; Norwood, Sault Ste. Marie, Owen Sound, Peterborough.

Maple Moon: Award for Maple Moon -- A 1998 Honor Title, Storytelling World Award by the Storytelling World Awards Committee given at the I.R.A.'s (International Reading Association) National Convention in Orlando, Florida on May 5, 1998. Canadian Children’s Our Choice List (in top ten percent) Children’s Book Award by The Word Guild 2006 for reprinted copy by Fitzhenry & Whiteside.
