Biography

Jeanne Bushey moved to Iqaluit on Baffin Island from the U.S. in 1974. There she taught school and became interested in Inuit culture and language. In 1980, she moved to Yellowknife, N.W.T. where she began writing and directing original scripts for children's drama. In 1987, Jeanne started a parenting column in the "Yellowknifer" newspaper, and wrote the first of several education articles for Parenting Magazine and Today's Parent. Her first book, A SLED DOG FOR MOSHI, was published in 1994.

Jeanne currently lives in Richmond B.C. and is available for readings and talks in the Vancouver area.
