Biography

Pat (Lp) Camozzi is an emerging children's singer/songwriter/author who is proud to be launching his 2nd music CD for boys in 2007 entitled Even Kids Go Country. These songs for boys are best suited to an 8+, pre-teen audience. All but one of the fourteen tracks are original compositions.

Lp was born in BC, grew up in Ontario, married a french Canadian he met in New Brunswick, raised his three kids in BC and is now living and writing in Montreal.

As part of a midlife career change goal, Lp has been writing children's books and music since 2001. He is an independent publisher of all his work which includes his first CD entitled Even Kids Get the Blues for boys 5+ and his book Pasta Pazoo. More Better Spaghetti - an illustrated reader - for all kids 3+. All his products can be seen on his www.lpkids.ca website.

One of Lp's goals is to help boys become strong, confident individuals who can some day share a healthy relationship with their partner. Boys today are falling behind and this father of two girls and a boy wants to do something through his music to help address this growing imbalance.

Lp’s music fills the gap between Raffi and Rap. His songs for boys are positive and humorous. Even Kids Go Country is an acoustic country blues CD. Boys will enjoy this album because it begins to address emotional issues such as first kisses, falling in love, the death of a furry friend, favorite foods and that scary first solo visit to the men's changing room. Even Kids Go Country also delivers some fine folk stories of living in Canada in the late 50's - from Lp Camozzi's boyhood memories. This is an easy listening album for parents who enjoy rich lyrics supported by professionally mastered acoustic guitar backing tracks, solid drum work and country blues harmonica.
