Born: Toronto, Ontario BiographyBrenda Chapman grew up in northwestern Ontario. After studying English and history at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, she earned a Bachelor of Education degree from Queen's University in Kingston. Brenda worked for many years as a special education teacher in Ottawa, specializing in reading and language arts. In addition to writing, Brenda currently works for the federal government as a senior communications advisor.
