Born: July 16, 1965, Winnipeg, MB. BiographyPeter was born in Winnipeg, but before he knew what was happening, he was whisked away to Mississauga and promptly raised there. He attended Queen's University and graduated with a B.A.H. in Biological Psychology. There he met Laura Suzuki, who later became his wife and co-author/co-illustrator, in that order. Peter and Laura specialize in creating science books that describe complex topics through a harmony of pictures and words. Peter is a principal of the creative design firm Doodletronics, which specializes in both web and print design. Including this web site. He is also a freelance illustrator, doing editorial and technical work for magazines and textbooks (Addison-Wesley, Nelson, Gage, Scholastic) and some TV-related work too (Canadian Sacrilege Moments).
