Born: March 23, 1951. Brampton, Ontario
Family: Married to Shelleen Nelson. Father of Nicholas, Alexander, and Mariella.

Biography

Peter has been an actor, director, playwright, teacher, arts administrator, journalist, environmental activist, official typist for an Arctic expedition, professor, and a farmer with a great big barn and only one chicken. He has worked in Quebec, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, and Ontario.

Peter now teaches children's literature, Canadian literature and drama, Native literatures, and writing at the universities of Guelph and Western Ontario.
