Biography

Raised in Winnipeg, Constance taught high school in Manitoba and British Columbia until the birth of her first child. Thereafter, she worked with children as a volunteer in school and church organizations to which her children belonged. When the youngest started school, she began to write seriously with a view to publication. Since her own student days (reinforced by her years as a teacher) Canadian history has been her favorite subject. She believes that Canadian children should have the opportunity to read many books about their own country and its history.
