Biography

Kathy Jessup spent ten years as a broadcast journalist with CBC radio, before deciding to explore her "closet passion": writing and telling children's stories. She has performed at libraries, schools and festivals across Canada, and has had some of her work published. In addition to storytelling, Kathy offers two beginner writing workshops: "Tell Me a Story" (K-2) and "Write On" (Gr. 3-6). Her simple, straight-forward approach to creative writing has proved popular with teachers at the elementary level.
