Born: A while ago. Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Biography

Born in Eskilstuna, Sweden, of Finnish and Polish parents, given an Italian name -- you think I'd be a lot more exotic, wouldn't you? From the time I first read picture books, I wanted to write. I also liked to draw a lot, and play with those little rubber-stamp printing kits children had in the 50's. I worked as a graphic designer and illustrator while I was getting readier and readier to become a full-time children's author and poet.
