Biography

Pat Ann is a visual storyteller who lives in the wilds of Niagara Escarpment with her husband Larry MacDougall, her ancient cat Keesha and Finn the dog (who is too smart for his own good).

Starting out as a storyboard artist for Nelvana, Pat Ann 'boarded' shows such as Little Bear, Timothy Goes to School, and Franklin the Turlte. After 8 years in the animation industry, Pat Ann wanted to stretch out into other areas of children's entertainment and found happiness in book illustration.

So, when she's not spinning out illustrations with her purple pencil crayon, she's works on giftware design for companies such as The Bradford Exchange or bothering her husband, Larry while he's under a heavy deadline.
