Biography
Sheryl McFarlane was born in the Ottawa Valley, grew up in Arizona and has lived on the West Coast of Canada since 1974. She is the award-winning author of many books for children. A former teacher, she has produced two Children's Book Festivals in Victoria where she now makes her home. She is the former chair of the Victoria Children's Literature Roundtable as well as a past editor of their quarterly newsletter. Sheryl enjoys visiting schools across the country and frequently speaks on topics related to children's literature. In her spare time, she slips away to her gulf island retreat with her three daughters.
