Biography
Sharon Siamon writes adventure and humour books for children. Her first novels, the Fishing for Trouble series, were set in the wilderness of Northern Ontario, where her family built a log house on a remote island. In her new series, the Mustang Mountain adventures, Sharon returns to her first
love, horses, and sets her books in the Alberta Rockies where thirteen-year-old riders explore wilderness trails on sure-footed mountain horses.
Internationally known for her children's books, Sharon Siamon has written more than twenty-five novels for eight to twelve-year-olds. Through the Canada Council and Ontario Arts Council programs, she has participated in school and library readings across Canada.
