Born: Toronto. March 29, 1956. BiographyTed Staunton has been writing for and presenting to children and adults since the publication of his first book, Puddleman in 1983. He is the author of over twenty novels and picture books for young readers, and a frequent presenter at schools, libraries and conferences across Canada. When not chewing his nails over a story, Ted enjoys sports and playing music with the group Born Yesterday. Published WorksMorgan's Pet, Formac, 2003 AwardsNumerous Canadian Childrens' Book Centre "Our Choice" awards for many of the above titles.
