Biography

Ted Staunton has been writing for and presenting to children and adults since the publication of his first book, Puddleman in 1983. He is the author of over twenty novels and picture books for young readers, and a frequent presenter at schools, libraries and conferences across Canada. When not chewing his nails over a story, Ted enjoys sports and playing music with the group Born Yesterday.

Available For

Ted is available for presentations in schools, in libraries, at conferences, and PA days. He has a variety of presentations for different age/grade groupings that incorporate stories, imagining activities and music. He also conducts writing workshops for children and adults, including a 5 part series on creating picture books.
