Biography

Cheryl has worked in the advertising industry for many years. As a copywriter and Creative Director, she has written print, radio and television ads for a number of Toronto advertising agencies and the CBC.

After their son was born, Cheryl continued her work free lance and teaches copywriting part-time at Seneca@York.

Inspired by her son Michael and the family pooch, Cheryl started to write and illustrate stories for children. Her first book, Please Don't Bug The Dog was published in 1997, followed by an audio tape of the book and songs in 2000.

Cheryl continues to write and illustrate stories for children. She also conducts school and library readings throughout Ontario.
