Biography

Lori has been writing since childhood. She studied creative writing at Concordia University and published short stories and poems in various literary journals, then decided to try writing for young adults, a genre which she loves and which suits her writing style and themes. She has taught English in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and is now teaching at John Abbott College in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. Her first novel, Klepto, was published in 2004 by James Lorimer, and her second novel, Split, came out in 2005, also by James Lorimer. She currently lives in Pointe-Claire, Quebec with her husband, daughter, two cats and a vast salt and pepper collection.
