Bio
Born on a tiny island stuck to the south of England, Kate Blair has worked as a museum curator, a clown and a cook on a ship on the Great Barrier Reef, at a theme park on the Jersey Shore and making furniture for the Sydney Olympic Village.
She has five books out, four for young adults - TRANFERRAL, TANGLED PLANET , A MIST OF MEMORIES and WE BURY NOTHING, and one for middle-grade readers - THE MAGPIE'S LIBRARY Her books have been optioned for film and television, translated into French and nominated for multiple awards.
