CANSCAIP MEETING Wed Nov 14 with AUTHOR Vicki Grant

  • Wednesday, November 14, 2018
  • 7:00 PM

MEETING: Wed Nov 14 at 7:00 with AUTHOR Vicki Grant

LOCATION: Toronto Public Library Northern District Branch, 40 Orchard View Blvd. (1 block N of Eglinton, W off Yonge), Room 200 (2nd floor).

YOU JUST GAVE ME AN IDEA! Where do you get your ideas?” That’s probably the question authors get asked most. Vicki Grant’s answer is: “I work at getting them.” In this presentation, she’ll show you exactly how she finds, creates and develops ideas. She’ll also give you tips on:

* Toying with the truth
* Exploiting your family and friends
* Creating great stories by employing all the bad habits you got in trouble for as a kid – daydreaming, exaggeration, confabulation, eavesdropping and petty theft.

Award-winning author Vicki Grant has written 17 YA and Middle-Grade novels. Her latest novel, 36 Questions That Changed My Mind About You, has been sold worldwide to over twenty territories.
