Bio
SUE IRWIN is a teacher and author. Her writing has been published in a variety of children’s publications and has won several awards. Her Lorimer Recordbook "Safety Stars" was nominated for the Silver Birch Nonfiction Award, was on the Canadian Children’s Book Centre’s “Best Books for Kids and Teens” list, and won the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario’s “Curriculum Development Award.” She is excited about the launch of her second book in the Recordbooks series, "Breaking Through - Heroes in Canadian Women's Sport." From her home in southern Ontario, Sue cheers for the Red and White as they compete around the world.
