Annick Press, one of Canada’s leading publishers of fiction and nonfiction for toddlers through to teens, was started in 1975 by Rick Wilks and Anne Millyard (Anne + Rick = Annick). In 2000, Rick became the sole owner. Many CANSCAIPers have been published by Annick, including Robert Munsch, Michael Martchenko, Ruth Ohi, Sharon Jennings, Gillian O'Reilly, Kathy Stinson, and Martha Newbigging.
With four decades of building a worldwide reputation for excellence in children's publishing, Rick Wilks will be a memorable speaker.

PRE-MEETING DINNER WITH THE SPEAKER: To join us for dinner with the speaker, RSVP to Cathy Rondina. We meet at 5:30 pm at The Pickle Barrel (1 block N of Eglinton, W off Yonge, 2nd floor of Yonge-Eglinton Centre).
LOCATION: Our monthly meetings are at Toronto Public Library Northern District Branch, 40 Orchard View Blvd. (1 block N of Eglinton, W off Yonge) in Room 200 (2nd floor).
TRANSIT: TPL Northern District Branch is 1 block north of the Eglinton subway stop on the Yonge line.
PARKING: The closest Green P parking lot is 75 Holly Street (1 block E of Yonge, S of Eglinton). There are other Green P lots on Erskine, Castlefield and Sherwood, 3 to 5 blocks N of Eglinton. The Yonge-Eglinton Centre has underground parking, with an entrance on Orchard View Blvd.
