Annual Meeting of Members 6:00 pm
CANSCAIP invites Members and Friends to attend our Annual Meeting of Members, to be held at the TPL Lillian H. Smith branch at College and Spadina.
If you are planning to attend, you will have one vote at the meeting. PROXY: If you are Member or Friend of CANSCAIP and cannot attend, you may appoint a proxy holder to vote for you. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like CANSCAIP President Sharon Jennings to hold your proxy. Please write PROXY in the subject line. Or, any CANSCAIP Member or Friend can hold your proxy if they will be attending the meeting and present a note from you.
AGENDA & SLATE: The agenda and slate of nominated executive will be circulated before the meeting.
Osborne Collection presentation with Leslie McGrath (following AMM, at about 6:45)
The Osborne Collection of Early Children’s Books is a world-renowned treasure trove that encompasses the development of English children’s literature. Since its beginnings in the 1930s, the Collection has grown to over 80,000 rare and modern children’s books, book-related art, novelties like movables and miniatures, and ephemera. Leslie McGrath, head of the Osborne Collection, will give us a presentation. “Worlds and their Stories: Wielders of Wonders”, with books and artwork depicting ancient civilizations, will be on exhibit at the time of CANSCAIP’s meeting. Refreshments, provided by the Friends of the Osborne Collection, will be served.

DINNER WITH THE SPEAKER: There will not be a dinner with the speaker in April.
LOCATION: We will meet in the auditorium (lower level) at the Lillian H. Smith branch of the Toronto Public Library, 239 College Street, east of Spadina).
