Registration is closed

CANSCAIP is delighted to offer our second webinar, Grants for Writers and Illustrators presented by Heather M. O’Connor, to be held on Wed., Sept. 20 at 7:00 pm (EST).

CANSCAIP Member Heather M. O’Connor,  author of the YA novel Betting Game, will show you how to find and apply for grants and other arts funding, the steps to follow, and her tips for success.  Over the past ten years, Heather has successfully applied for grants that have funded writing projects, research trips, professional development and a residency. She frequently provides workshops on grant-writing and other topics.

All registrants will receive a link to the webinar and the password a few days before September 20.

This webinar will also be recorded, so if you can't attend live, you can view the online video at any time.

Registration for the webinar or the video is $25 for CANSCAIP Friends and Members, and $35 for non-members

NOTE: If you are not a Friend or Member or if your membership has lapsed, to enable registration at the $25 member rate, please join or renew first and then come back to register for the webinar.

Technical requirements for the webinar

1. You'll need Google Chrome or Firefox as your web browser (no other browser works with the webinar software).

2. Your computer must have speakers or headphones so you can hear the webinar.

3. It is best to use a wired internet connection rather than wi-fi. The quality of the webinar is partially dependent on your internet connection.

More webinars ahead!

Webinars are part of CANSCAIP's goal to make more of our services and programs available to our membership across Canada. Stay tuned! We'll be announcing more webinars in the future.
