SPEAKERS:   APRIL is National Poetry Month, and what better way to celebrate than with a panel of three unique and talented poets. Authors Shannon Bramer and Lana Button, and spoken word poet Wali Shah will discuss all things poetic — rhyme vs prose, the art of rhythms and patterns, where inspiration is found, and what compels one to be a poet.  Patricia Storms will moderate the discussion.

MEETING FORMAT: 

• Meetings open with announcements by Members and Friends, followed by the meeting speakers, and then breakout rooms.
• During the meeting, attendees use Chat to type questions and comments, which will be read aloud by the meeting coordinator. 
• After the meeting, we can linger in breakout rooms to talk in smaller groups.
• CANSCAIP's meetings offer an inclusive, supportive, and safe space for our cross-Canada community of Members and Friends. Everyone is expected to be respectful in all spoken and posted comments.
