Bio
SALLY MEADOWS is an award-winning author, recording artist, and speaker. Sally has written five children's books: When Crocodiles Cry: 365 MORE Amazing Facts About The Animal Kingdom (2019), The Underdog Duckling (2018), When Sleeping Birds Fly: 365 Amazing Facts About The Animal Kingdom (2018), The Two Trees (2015), and Beneath That Star (2015). To date, almost 5000 Saskatchewan and New Brunswick children have seen her author presentation and received the benefit of increased science literacy. She is also a contributing author to two bestselling Canadian series (Chicken Soup for the Soul (What I Learned from My Dog, 2025 and Christmas in Canada, 2014) and Hot Apple Cider (Hot Apple Cider With Cinnamon, 2015 and Christmas with Hot Apple Cider, 2017)) and has been published in a number of other anthologies, magazines, and newspapers. Sally has been shortlisted numerous times for national and international writing and songwriting awards on top of three award-winning short fictional stories. Sally is an experienced workshop leader for both adults and children, and a former teacher.
