Bio
Brenda grew up in southern Alberta, the granddaughter of pioneers. Her first novel, The Art of Rebellion (Rebelight Publishing 2016), is a YA historical, essentially a fictionalized account of her grandmother's journey from France to Canada at the turn of the 20th century. It was on the Calgary Bestsellers list four times, and is archived in the library of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. She has a short story published in an anthology, YYC POP, and poetry published in chapbooks. Her picture book, Flip, Flop, Flapjack! is being released in 2023.
