Bio
Laura Bontje is a freelance fiction editor and the author of the picture books Was It a Cat I Saw? (Amicus Ink), When the Air Sang (Annick Press), Marian's Marvelous Excavation (coming 2026 from Groundwood Books), and more to come! She was raised in Calgary and now lives in London, Ontario, with her husband and young children.
