Grandmothers on Children's Language 2016 (1)

Created on: Thursday, December 30, 2021
Storying creates context and our sense of self and place. We all come from somewhere and "story" (as a verb) for our Little Ones about somewhere in our own languages. The poster for this event shows 3 generations of families. My practice and all the posters include ancestral rock art as "vocabulary" which ... of course ... were curriculum content for children as well as adults. Where are we from? Where are we going? And Who shall we become on getting there?
