WEBINAR TOPIC: CANSCAIP often gets asked about writing critique groups. How can you get a group started?  Can you critique someone’s writing without hurting their feelings? How should the group be structured? Nancy Hartry and Teresa Toten have been in the same writing critique group for more than 20 years.  Their lively and practical webinar will help and inspire you to start a writing critique group—or enhance the group you’re already in.

Nancy Hartry is the author of the novels Smokescreen and Watching Jimmy (CLA Best Children’s Book of the Year) and picture books Hold On, McGinty! and Jocelyn and the Ballerina. When Nancy is not writing stories, she works as a lawyer. Teresa Toten is a bestselling YA author whose books have been translated around the world. Her titles include Beware That Girl, The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B (Governor-General’s Award winner), and Me and the Blondes.
